Blog post assignment 3
Back in the middle ages women often took care of the house work such as watching the kids, cleaning up,handling some yard work and more while their husbands were at work, but during the busiest time of the year such as harvest women would help their husbands with crops and bring them in for the household. Also during these times women participated in vital cottage industries such as brewing, baking, and manufacturing testiles. Also the most common symbol of the peasant women was the distaff. This information refers to the middle ages and how it was for women in the medieval period.

Chaucer was rather grandly the father of English literature and also the prime shaper of English language.Chaucer has been credited with a series of first .G.L.Kittredge identified Troilus and Criseyde as the first novel,in the modern sense. When reading Chaucer's works one is struck by sense of great variety. As on the 3rd page it gets into details about The Canterbury Tales were near the end of the Troilus and Criseyde, Chaucer associates the little tragedy with a long line of classical poets and then asks for help to write some comedie. The Canterbury Tales is thus a comedy not because of of its comic characters and humorous stories several tragic in tone structure but because its overall structure is comic.

Lesson before dying quotation
Chapter 3
Page 21
" i done done a lot for this family and this place mr henri"
This is indeed conflict because miss Emma is telling mr Henri that since I have done a lot you cannot do just one thing for me which is kind of lowdown.
This quite characterizes Ms Emma because she is just trying her best for people to call her boy a man and not a hog and the person she thinks will help her is not even going to try but instead come up with excuses
Lesson before dying discussion questions chapter 3-4
Chapter 3
1. Henry pivots insistence is that Jefferson did it because he knows that Jefferson is guilty for his actions from when he went down there
2. What this mean is that he does not have to but she is not seeing the same boy she has known for a long time.
3. It symbolizes how it felt when he was young and how be used to go down there so basically a old childhood spot.
4. She basically just wants mr Henri and does not want the sheriff
Chapter 4
1. This echoes and expands because in the beginning he I called a big and when that was said it gets taken back to that day
2. Because so many things have gone on and his family is upset that he just needs to get away.

Blog assignment 8
I'm Martin Luther king Jr. I have a dream speech one of his rhetorical strategies is repetition. Throughout the speech mr king uses repetition to get his point across about the unequality of African American people . For example towards the end of his speech he repeats let freedom ring and so on, he is trying to let the people of America know that African American lives matter
Another rhetorical strategy used was hyperbole. He uses hyperbole at the beginning of the speech which says " I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the graetest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation" he exaggerates the fact that what he is about to speak on is the greatest of all time that everyone should take in consideration about the great speech that deals with the civil rights movement and more for African American people.
