Book response

Frankenstein was a very good book i feel as if it had some very good themes that peoplw can completely relate to with bullying and not judging a book by its cover and morw and how like God id our creator and how some people don’t have a relationship with God our creator it was like Frankenstein because he was the monsters creator and he had no relationship with his creation. The book Frankenstein was a book that appealed greatly to ones emotions saying such emotions that the reader could connect to such as anger, sadness, depression, and more. Shelbey has done a wonderful job with the structure of the book, with the characters and the plot, themes, and even more

in psalm 91 it shoes that onece you know you have jesus in your life that one can become saved and fhat one will see that one who has sinned time may come early or be punished for their sins

entry 5

the pardoners tale was one of my favorites because it teaches a lesson that greed can be the root to all evil because the three rioters went kn a voyage to find gold but the mindset of having the gold got their heads causeing them to change on one another and injure and kill one another

essay feedback

What i think i made on my in class essay about king lear is probably a low grade because i did not get a chance to finish and i felt as if some of my sentences where repetitive and talked about the same things but alsk i felt as if i did good because i planned and had a few ideas and more information to talk about

Entry 3

My take on act three I believe that gonireal and reagan should have never teamed up with one another because I believe that reagan should have let goneril be mean and hateful by her self reagan had a chance to be on their fathers good side because after gonireal was mean Leae turned to reagan but reagan also betrayed him which was also very hateful for her to do when her father needed her help the most

King lear entry 2

in the second act of king lear kent and oswald get into a confrontation, majority if this act they are arguing and also kent was threatening oswald with a sword and oswald yelled murder.During this specific scene it sounded as if oswald was on to kent diguise because in act one kent was recently exiled and came back to the kingdom to be a loyal servent for the king mear

King lear entry one

The first couple of scts in the play king lear talked about how the king learntrued to offer cordilla, goniral, and reagan his land, reagan and gonirel took it,but cordelia did not take it and lear got infuriated with her because she wanted to be kind so he banished her and a yoing man know by kent spoke up and told the king that was a very big mstake amd the king got mad with kent, and the king banished him as well.So the king disowned cordelia and when the kingdoms came to choose a wife  france came and got cordelia.

Macbeth journal entry 3

in this Act,Act 3 of Macbeth it talks about hoe Macbeth has found out Banquo thinks he is acting suspicious, and thinks Macbeth killed the king instead of a guard.Macbeth also found out Banquo also knew of the witches prophecies. Also Macbeth gathered two murders to murder Banquo because Macbeth didn’t want to do it because of the fact he did not want to loose his friends,so the murders were told to kill Banquo and once Banquo did die,he told Fleance to advenge his death. This particular part of Act 3 showed me that, even if you are scared to do something do it,or get other people to do it,because even though you physically had anything to do with it you are still an associate ,so don’t interact with bad

Act 2 Macbeth journal entry

In the second Act of Macbeth it goes to inform us about how Macbeth commited a murder on the king using a nights dagger leaving it bloody ,and with Lady Macbeth being appalled by the actions. In this act, i feel like if Macbeth used the nights dagger the night should not leave such objects when knowing they should protect the King ,and by Macbeth leaving the dagger it makes it look like one of the nights did it,then Lady Macbeth by her knowing she should have turned him in or said something, because just  by her knowing what he did she is involved in the crime.

Macbeth journal entry #1

In ACT1 of Macbeth,it goes on to show us three witches who know Macbeth and go on to somewhat curse his future and tell him of his future. In this Act i felt as if the witches should have left Macbeth alone, because Macbeth would have probably had a better chance of letting his future hit im but not letting the witches cast different spells, and tell him wnat his future may consist of. Thats my feed kn the first act if Macbeth.

Psalm verse analysis

Psalm 121King James Version (KJV)

121 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Line1: When saying, “i will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help”.  This is saying that a person who may be in need of help, may be asking from help from the heavens.
Line2: This line means, that a person knows that when they look up that their help is coming from the lord, the creator of the heavens and earth.
Line3: This line meaning that the lord will not force ones foot to move and that whoever he keeps will never make it to eternity.
Line4: I think that this line is meaning that whoever probably dictates and makes the israelites as slave shall not meet eternity.
Line5: This line is stating that the lord will always shelter you in his spirit form
Line6: This line is stating not the sun or the moon will upset that person
Line7: This line is saying that the Lord will always have you and he shall save your soul and keep you from all evil.
Line8;This line states that the lord will keep evil and danger from coming in your life, forevermore.

King lear review

What i like about the book is that it give a greal lesson on how family should always love one another and not turn on each other and no matter how bad somebody treats you that you should never do the same such as how cordelia did her father lear treated her bad and cordelia never tried to get revenge rhe book its self it just magnificent and the author used very distinct laughed some words I’ve never seen before but a very good it had some very funny parts jn it and i enjoyed reading the scenes ive previously read and i suggests more people get this book and read it because it teaches a good life lesson and is very enjoyable.

Blog post assignment 3

Back in the middle ages women often took care of the house work such as watching the kids, cleaning up,handling some yard work and more while their husbands were at work, but during the busiest time of the year such as harvest women would help their husbands with crops  and bring them in for the household. Also during these times women participated in vital cottage industries such as brewing, baking, and manufacturing testiles. Also the most common symbol of the peasant women was the distaff. This information refers to the middle ages and how it was for women in the medieval period.

When reading Chaucer's works one is struck by sense of great variety. As on the 3rd page it gets into details about The Canterbury Tales were near the end of the Troilus and Criseyde, Chaucer associates the little tragedy with a long line of classical poets and then asks for help to write some comedie. The Canterbury Tales is thus a comedy not because of of its comic characters and humorous stories several tragic in tone structure but because its overall structure is comic.

Lesson before dying quotation

Chapter 3
Page 21
" i done done a lot for this family and this place mr henri"
This is indeed conflict because miss Emma is telling mr Henri that since I have done a lot you cannot  do just one thing for me which is kind of lowdown.
This quite characterizes Ms Emma because she is just trying her best for people to call her boy a man and not a hog and the person she thinks will help her is not even going to try but instead come up with excuses

Lesson before dying discussion questions chapter 3-4

Chapter 3
1. Henry pivots insistence is that Jefferson did it because he knows that Jefferson is guilty for his actions from when he went down there
2. What this mean is that he does not have to but she is not seeing the same boy she has known for a long time.
3. It symbolizes how it felt when he was young and how be used to go down there so basically a old childhood spot.
4. She basically just wants mr Henri and does not want the sheriff
   Chapter 4
  1. This echoes and expands because in the beginning he I called a big and when that was said it gets taken back to that day
2. Because so many things have gone on and his family is upset that he just needs to get away.

Blog assignment 8

I'm Martin Luther king Jr. I have a dream speech one of his rhetorical strategies is repetition. Throughout  the speech mr king uses repetition  to get his point across about the unequality of African American people . For example towards the end of his speech he repeats let freedom ring and so on, he is trying to let the people of America know that African American lives matter
Another rhetorical strategy used was hyperbole. He uses  hyperbole at the beginning  of the speech  which says " I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the graetest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation" he exaggerates the fact that what he is about to speak on is the greatest of all time that everyone should take in consideration about the great speech that deals with the civil rights movement and more for African American people.
